Sedaro will implement its digital twin platform in support of the PWSA and GPS programs.
Arlington, VA – Sedaro Corporation has been awarded a Direct-to-Phase II (D2P2) SBIR by The Space Development Agency (SDA) to implement the Sedaro digital twin platform in support of the Global Positioning System (GPS) and SDA Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA) programs.
Sedaro will deploy instances of their cloud-native digital twin platform, Sedaro, to support both programs and complete unique implementation efforts with each program. For this project, Sedaro is partnering with Celeris Systems and Safran Federal Systems.
For the GPS Test and Evaluation group at Space Systems Command (SSC), Sedaro will build and validate digital twins of GPS satellites and then integrate GPS digital twin simulations with GNSS simulator test facilities. This will enable 10x faster configuration of complex hardware-in-the-loop tests that are used to confirm GPS receiver performance in complex, contested environments. With validated satellite digital twins, these tests will ensure the end-to-end capabilities of the GPS system to provide essential services to vehicles and users in the face of dynamic jamming and spoofing threats. The resulting GNSS feature set in the Sedaro platform will support commercial PNT providers with the same enhanced and accelerated testing capabilities.
For the Space Development Agency, Sedaro is building digital twins of the PWSA constellation to support operational and training applications. These applications facilitate integration with live operators and can ingest external data feeds. Sedaro is prototyping modeling to allow digital twin simulation software using a market-based approach.

About Space Development Agency
Speed. Delivery. Agility. Recognized as the Department of Defense's constructive disruptor for space acquisition, the Space Development Agency (SDA) will quickly deliver needed space-based capabilities to the joint warfighter to support terrestrial missions through development, fielding, and operation of the National Defense Space Architecture. SDA capitalizes on a unique business model that values speed and lowers costs by harnessing commercial development to achieve a proliferated architecture and enhance resilience. SDA will deliver a minimum viable product - on time, every two years- by employing spiral development methods, adding capabilities to future generations as the threat evolves. https://www.sda.mil/
